I am delighted with my Hatch Latches! The boat locks are very well engineered, and provide a heavy duty, robust solution to the security of my boat. The fitting instructions are quite clear, and I thought supplying the necessary woodworking bits was a nice touch!
The only thing is I wish now I had gone for the padlocks with the rubber buffer strips, but serves me right for being a cheap skate!

"When boats near us started to be broken in to last year the police advice was "fit a big lock".A friend show us the Hatch-Latch which he had fitted a few years before. He was certain that thieves had be on his deck several times but they had not tried to break in.. It was so solid we bought and fitted a Hatch-Latch immediately. This year we moved to a new mooring, and boats near us have been broken in to, but they have not tried to break into our boat. It may seem a bit expensive for boat locks, but it is a quality product and comes compete with everything you need to fit it, including 14 and 19mm drill bits! If it keeps the thieves away it would be cheap at twice the price. Add to this that Osprey Marine are ever so helpful and friendly to deal with and it rates as one of my best buys."
